Quick answers about what Rumorix shows, how listings work, and how to help correct listings.
Are listings accurate?
Rumorix pulls from official city, venue, organizer, library, market, and festival pages whenever possible. The goal is to rely on sources that are closest to the event itself.
How current are listings?
Scheduled source updates run twice daily. Manual corrections and reviewed submissions may be added separately, and a failed source update can leave older information in place.
You should always check the source page before making plans.
Why doesn't the feed match my preferences?
Rumorix does not build an ad-targeted or personalized feed.
Use search and filters to narrow the feed to what you want to see.
Does Rumorix sell tickets or handle reservations?
No. Rumorix helps you discover events, but it does not sell tickets or handle reservations.
If an event needs tickets, registration, or booking, use the source link.
Why are some listings short or missing details?
Some source pages only publish the basics, and Rumorix does not try to invent missing details.
When that happens, the listing stays simple and points you to the source for anything more specific.
Why are some events posted more than once?
Rumorix works to reduce duplicates, but sometimes similar versions of the same event can appear across different sources.
If something looks duplicated or confusing, please Report so it can be reviewed.
How do I report something wrong?
If one listing looks wrong, use the Report button on that event.

Can businesses or organizers contact Rumorix?
Yes. Use the Contact page for source suggestions, removal requests, business questions, or to point Rumorix to a more official event source.
If you are asking for a change to a listing, include enough detail to show how you are connected to it.
How do I get my events listed and is there a fee?
Anyone can suggest a public event through the Submit an event page (Easy Submit); you do not have to be its organizer. Share an official link when possible, or use the no-link fields. Organizers can submit 2–10 events together, and anyone can suggest a public calendar.
Submitting an event and having it listed are free. The event itself may charge admission. Suggestions must be relevant to the area Rumorix covers and are reviewed before publication.
Do I need an account or email address to submit?
No account or email address is required. An optional email lets us ask questions about your submission and is not displayed publicly.
Bot verification is required. Organizers submitting multiple events also provide their name and organization or role so reviewers have context.
What happens after I submit?
A successful submission shows a receipt. Save it if you may need to follow up. Review can include automated checks and a human decision; submission does not guarantee publication or a reply.
Do not repeatedly submit the same event. Similar submissions may be combined, and duplicate or abusive requests may be limited or rejected. Use Contact with your receipt for a correction or question.
